General Standards and Procedures for Admission to CCS:
  • Admission of all students shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Directors at a duly constituted meeting.
  • Students must be able to competently complete the curriculum of CCS.
  • Parents must be in complete agreement with the policies of CCS.
  • CCS does not offer classes for children with learning or behavioral disabilities.  Students with learning or behavioral disabilities will be considered on an individual basis.  The student’s ability to successfully complete the CCS curriculum in a regular classroom is essential.
  • Crosspoint Christian School admits students of any race, color, ethnic or national background.
  • Students seeking admission to Crosspoint Christian School must complete an application for admission and submit it with the required registration fee.
  • Students will be given an academic evaluation test to assist the administration and teachers in making proper placement of the student
  • Records from previous schools must be received
  • Secondary students and their parents will be asked to meet with the Enrollment Committee for an interview.
  • Parents of elementary students will meet with the Administrator or Elementary Head Teacher for an interview
  • Students and their families will be notified of acceptance or rejection for admission to CCS.
  • The student’s birth certificate and current immunization record must be on file prior to beginning classes.  Immunizations must be current according to Missouri State Guidelines.

Standards for Admission Grades 7-12:

  • Children of Members: First priority for admission will be given to the children of Members of the Association, provided that the child is a professing Christian as evidenced by confession of faith in Christ as Lord and Savior, such profession to be made before the Enrollment Committee and is in agreement with the statement of faith listed below.
  • Factors to be considered for the admission of other children are:
    • that the child and one or both parents are professing Christians as evidenced by confession of faith in Christ as Lord and Savior, such profession to be made before the Enrollment Committee and is in agreement with the statement of faith listed below, all CCS policies, and Bylaws.
  • Other children, who have a responsible Christian sponsor, may be admitted by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of those present at a Board meeting, providing the child is a professing Christian as evidenced by confession of faith in Christ as Lord and Savior, such profession to be made before the Enrollment committee and is in agreement with the statement of faith listed below.
  • Students who have attended CCS elementary but have never accepted Christ as Lord and Savior will be considered for admission to the secondary level providing the student is in good standing academically and behaviorally. The student and his/her parents must be in agreement with the statement of faith listed below. Also, the parents must have demonstrated support for the policies and programs of CCS.

Standards of Admission for Grades Kindergarten – 6th

  • Children of Members: First priority for admission will be given to the children of Members of the Association, provided that the parents are in agreement with the statement of faith listed below.
  • Other children will be granted admission provided that their parents are in agreement with the statement of faith listed below, all CCS policies, and the Bylaws.

Statement of Faith:

  • It is an essential doctrine of the Word of God and our standards that the Holy Spirit did so inspire, guide, and move the writers of Holy Scriptures as to keep them from error.
  • It is an essential doctrine of the Word of God and our standards that our Lord Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary.
  • It is an essential doctrine of the Word of God and our standards that Christ offered Himself as a sacrifice to satisfy divine justice and to reconcile us to God.
  • It is an essential doctrine of the Word of God and our standards that our Lord Jesus Christ on the third day rose again from the dead, later ascended into heaven and there sits at the right hand of His Father, making intercession, until His visible and glorious return.
  • It is an essential doctrine of the Word of God as the supreme standard of our faith that our Lord Jesus showed His power and love by working mighty miracles.  The working was not contrary to nature but superior to it.
