About
Crosspoint Christian School opened its doors for classes in 1990 with 25 seventh - ninth grade students. It was founded by a group of parents who shared the conviction that a Christian education was essential for their children. The vision then was a simple one - to provide Christian families an alternative to public schools at the secondary level. Over the years, the vision has grown to include preschool and elementary grades, and a program of excellence in academics, Christian discipleship, leadership, service, athletics, and fine arts.
From the very first public meeting held in January, 1990, to determine interest in having a Christian secondary school in Franklin County, God's direction in this ministry has been evident. The school was structured to be independent and inter-denominational despite widespread discouragement from seasoned adminstrators. While there have certainly been bumps and challenges through the years, with God's grace and direction, Crosspoint has continued to provide Christian education for over 30 years. Those in leadership have learned to trust in God's faithfulness, perfect timing, and provision.
In the early years, the majority of the students enrolling in Crosspoint had previously attended local Christian schools. In 1992, Crosspoint unexpectedly acquired an elementary school from a church in the area, and became a K-12 school. By 1994, the student body was comprised of students not only from the local communities, but also from West St. Louis, Gasconade, Crawford, and Jefferson Counties. God faithfully supplied teachers, facilities, and resources during this time of rapid growth. Over recent years the enrollment has averaged 130 students, representing 30+ different churches.
Crosspoint's greatest success is its students. The majority of the alumni continue to serve the Lord, and alumni frequently express their gratitude to the staff and leaders of Crosspoint for the impact they had on their lives. Further affirmation comes from the number of former students who have enrolled their children at Crosspoint and the alumni who return to teach at the school. The desire to serve the families of Franklin County and surrounding areas is being thwarted by inadequate space. We eagerly look forward to what God has in store to allow us to continue our mission to equip Christian leaders for the next generation.
Crosspoint Christian School exists to partner with families and churches to develop Biblically focused, thoroughly equipped Christians for service and leadership through the study of Scripture and its principles, challenging academics, and development of their gifts and talents.

Statement of Faith
We believe that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original Hebrew and Greek writings. The Bible is the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and is the divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.
God is the Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Majesty on High. He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

Man was created in the image of God to glorify Him.

Man fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for those who believe, and only those who receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.

Those who have truly received Jesus Christ as their Savior can never be removed from the hand of God.

The physical and personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ is imminent, and this "Blessed Hope" has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

This "Statement of Faith" gives the perspective from which all teaching at Crosspoint will come. Areas of doctrine which are nonessential to salvation, such as gifts of the Spirit or modes of baptism, will not be discussed from any particular viewpoint in the classroom. Such areas of discussion will be referred back to the parents of the student seeking wisdom.
