Crosspoint Christian School is a Christ-centered, co-educational day school serving students from PreK through 12th grade.

Cougars Baseball! ⚾

Despite missing two of our seniors with injuries, our Varsity boys showed incredible fight and heart all the way through Joplin. Congratulation to Gus Bradley on receiving first team Allstate. 👏 The Varsity brought home 3rd place at the tournament, and we couldn’t be prouder!

A huge thank you to our five seniors — Eli Barron, Ky Hofstetter, Payton Lauth, Cody Sanders, and Asher Weldy — for pouring everything into this program. You led with class and left it better than you found it. You will be missed!

On the JV side, the young guys went 1-4 but played a ton of really close, competitive games and showed huge improvement all season long. Standouts included Charlie Cobb hitting .385, Carter Reed with a .636 OBP, Cole Avery swiping 4 bases, and Vince Wieberg throwing 15 innings with 20 strikeouts while also smashing 2 doubles. One of the best moments was Jack Tofari’s walk-off base hit to win a game — pure excitement!

Gold and black never looked better. Thank you to all our players, coaches, and families for making this a special season. Can’t wait to see what next year brings!

Huge shoutout to our boys soccer players who rolled in, lifted heavy, worked hard, and still managed to make it fun. You guys were absolute beasts!

Field Day 2026 is in the books! Thank you to all the parents, volunteers, and faculty for making Field Day such a fun day for the students.

Our secondary students wrapped up their boys versus girls competition a.k.a. #LipstickvsLegos this week! Congrats to the girls for extending their yearly record to 3:2 against the boys!

What a Season, Lady Cougars! ⚽

The girls soccer team wrapped up an outstanding year with a 9-5-2 record and made history by competing in the Top Division at the State Tournament for the first time — finishing a strong 4th place!

We are especially proud to announce that Ava Cobb and Lizzy Schutt earned 1st Team All-State honors!
This was a special season filled with on-the-field success, but even more importantly, it was marked by incredible support, encouragement, and lasting friendships among this amazing group of God-honoring young women.

We will especially miss our two seniors, Alaina and Ava, as they wrap up their high school careers. It has been a joy to watch them grow and lead this team — they will be greatly missed next year!

Thank you to our players, coaches, and families for an unforgettable season! We’re so proud of you!

Congratulations are due to one of our Four Rivers students—senior, Cody Sanders! Cody received a Leadership Award in tonight’s Building Trades awards ceremony. Cody also had the opportunity to be the speaker in our senior Chapel today. His testimony of how the Lord has been working in his life was a good reminder of how important it is to know and meditate on Truth. #GoCougars

We’ve been seeing so much incredible work happening at our new building lately! The second floor now has all its windows installed, HVAC is almost complete, and flooring is scheduled to start next week.

We are incredibly grateful and praying for everyone who has been pouring their time, energy, and effort into this project — especially Roger Holstein, our project manager, who has been working tirelessly to keep everything organized with the general contractor.

Thank you also to all the contractors and volunteers who have helped make this progress possible!

Don't forget! Tomorrow is Picture Retake Day for all students, but it will ONLY be done at the elementary campus. If your secondary student is getting their picture retaken, please contact the school office. Remember, secondary students getting their picture retaken will need to be dropped off at the elementary campus in the morning.

In Kindergarten Science, Mrs. Nielsen’s class is learning all about our 5 senses and how God created us to enjoy and explore the world around us! 👃👀👂✋👅

Today’s focus was on taste—and we discovered just how sour lemons can be! 🍋😝 The kiddos had so much fun testing different flavors and learning the difference between bitter, sweet, salty, and sour. A hands-on (and tongue-tingling!) way to experience God’s amazing design! 💛

Miss B. shared that her 8th grade scientists have been diving into metric volume measurement this week as part of their introduction to lab procedures!

🧪 Students are getting hands-on experience with real lab-ware as they learn how to measure accurately using milliliters and explore the purpose of each tool. A great kickoff to the year as they build confidence in the lab and prepare for upcoming experiments! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

2nd grade class this year! 🤗

Mrs. Wright attended Pensacola Christian College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in church music. She has been a piano and voice teacher for over 15 years, homeschooled her children for 9 years, and taught co-op classes in a variety of subjects. She also served as a leader in her church’s Master Clubs program, guiding 1st–3rd graders in discipleship for four years.

Her family first connected with Crosspoint when her daughter began attending two years ago, and this year, Mrs. Wright and her boys are officially joining the CCS family! She brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge in managing two different curriculums in one classroom—and is already doing a fantastic job. Her students are adjusting wonderfully, and we’re so excited to see all that God will do through her. 💛

“I love Christian education in all forms. Teaching from a Christian curriculum is the biggest blessing because students are able to see that God truly has a part in each aspect of our lives. With teaching 1st and 2nd grade, I am especially excited to see them grow to love learning even more. Our class theme is all about Teamwork. With God’s help, we can be a great team to achieve all that God has for us. A verse I am claiming this school year is Psalm 138:8, ‘The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me….’”

We are so thankful for Mrs. Wright’s heart, dedication, and passion for Christian education—and we are blessed to have her at Crosspoint! ✨

Today, we welcome back another one of our new teachers, Mrs. Leah Caldwell—our early elementary art teacher. 🤗

Mrs. Caldwell is another proud Crosspoint alumna who graduated in 2004. She went on to earn her Associate of Arts from East Central College, where she studied studio art and graphic design, and also studied studio art at Webster University.

She and her husband, Chris, have four children who are all part of the CCS family this year!

“I’m very excited to see how your child will grow in skill and creativity. We’re going to make some fun projects! Most importantly, I want them to understand how they glorify God in their work as they reflect our Creator in creating.”

Help us welcome Mrs. Elizabeth Askins BACK to Crosspoint! ✨

Mrs. Askins is no stranger to CCS—she graduated from Crosspoint in 2012 before earning her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minor in English from Greenville College in 2016. She went on to work as an Analytical Chemist at R.D. Laboratories for nearly a decade before returning to the very place where her own educational journey began.

This year, Mrs. Askins will be teaching high school math, science, and Spanish. Her heart for our students is rooted in her love for a Biblical worldview and a passion for equipping them for life after high school.

“I love the fact that Crosspoint teaches everything from a Biblical worldview and equips students for life after high school. My prayer for this year is found in Ephesians 3:20-21, and I look forward to helping my students grow not only in knowledge, but also in faith as they prepare for the future God has for them.”

We are so thankful to have one of our own alumni back in the classroom—pouring into the next generation with both excellence and eternal perspective. 💛

We’re so blessed to have Mrs. Faith Mahoney leading our 3rd & 4th grade class this year!

Mrs. Mahoney is a proud CCS alumna, having attended from 5th through 12th grade. Her teaching journey began in 2004 when she taught PE at Crosspoint for one year. Since then, she has homeschooled three of her five children in multiple grades and served as a substitute teacher here for two years. In 2022, she stepped back into the classroom to teach 3rd grade—and now she’s excited to continue with our combined 3rd & 4th grade class!

“I love teaching at Crosspoint because I have the opportunity to encourage my students to love the Lord with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength. My passion is teaching my students to love learning, and to see God’s truth in every aspect of their education.”

We’re so thankful for Mrs. Mahoney’s heart for the Lord, her deep roots in our CCS family, and the way she inspires her students to grow in both wisdom and faith. Here’s to another great year in her classroom! 💛

’Twas the night before school, and as backpacks are packed and first-day outfits are laid out, we pause to pray over our students, parents, and staff at our school. 💛

Lord, we ask You to cover our school community with Your protection, guide our hearts and minds in truth, and fill each classroom with joy, peace, and a love for learning. May our students grow not only in knowledge, but in faith. May our teachers be strengthened and encouraged, and may our parents feel Your presence and peace as they send their children off tomorrow.

We can’t wait to see God’s plan unfold for this year.
